Linking Childrens Thinking

Victorian Scotland takes an in-depth look at life in Scotland during Queen Victoria's reign. Pupils conduct virtual interviews with six Scottish Victorian characters from various walks of life on many different subjects including living conditions for the different classes, migration from the Highlands to the cities, great Scottish inventors and reformers, child labour and education. The Suffragists and, of course, the Industrial Revolution are also covered.
In addition to the useful spiral-bound Teachers' Support Pack, a Teachers' Support Disc is included with Victorian Scotland. This disc contains all of the separate text, image, sound and video files used in the CD-ROM allowing teachers to create their own lesson plans.
