INFANT - Active Learning’s Infant resource packs are designed to create purposeful links across the curriculum, supporting the Literacy Framework and Curriculum for Excellence’s Literacy and English experiences and outcomes. The pack content is designed to suit the needs and ability levels of the Foundation stage and Key Stage 1. Within each themed collection are a range of stories and non-fiction texts designed to extend and enrich vocabulary, also to find and use information. The educational toys and games are an ideal stimulus for meaningful speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. The dressing up outfits, children’s costumes and role-play accessories encourage imaginative play.
Simple investigative and recording skills are encouraged through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter resource collections. High interest topics such as Pirates, Knights and Castles, Dinosaurs, People Who Help Us, Pets, Transport and Houses & Homes create endless learning and teaching opportunities which extend across the curriculum. Our Traditional Tales range consists of; The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Gingerbread Man and Three Billy Goats Gruff .
